Surrounded by mangroves, a tidal lagoon and a pristine, sandy white beach, Coral Lodge is situated on the tip of an isolated peninsula on Northern Mozambique’s mainland, gazing out over turquoise oceans. This beach sanctuary comprises 10 thatched villas. Stylishly simplistic, the décor combines wood and textiles to create an authentic Mozambiquan feel and chic spaces and private decks open to lovely sea or lagoon views. Stroll along low wooden walkways to the central dining deck, bar, relaxation lounges, pool and sundeck.
Influenced by the heritage of the area, meals are served in the dining area. Due to a wide tidal range, the seas at low tide may be quite a walk from the lodge. Simply relax at the child-friendly property, or take advantage of the cultural activities available – Coral Lodge is close to the World Heritage Site, Ilha de Mozambique. Arrival is by dhow transfer and guests wade through shallow waters to the beach
